THE GAME
Status:
I'm afraid that I'll have to scrap the additional fighting game ( not THE GAME itself I'm talking about THE GAME: FIGHTING GAME ) all TG:TFG content however will simply be included in THE GAME so there's no real loss.
As for THE GAME itself, I'm working out all game mechanics and more content on a sketchpad which will eventually be translated into a nice and neat digital guide for (mostly) everyone to see, when I'm ready to start working on game assets I'll make a big announcement.

IMPULSE
Status:
It's still on hold but the backstory couldn't be more concrete at this moment.
I'm thinking about placing all of the story in text files then preparing a continuation where I left off.

I'm going back to the East coast so I will definitely be gone for a few months (transporting my computer back and forth through the country is a pain), but hopefully this will be the last time that I will need to make this transition.


Anyway, without further ado, I'd like to announce a less ambitious endeavor that I've been working on behind the scenes, a 20 page single-issue comic book titled

FREITAG REVOLTE

taking place in a not-so-distant future in which a law was passed granting the goverment permission to erect giant magnetic fields in major cities that render projectile weapons useless (all blunt weaponry and tools are still functional and untouched). As the nation pisses on it's second amendment the government forces are equipped with state of the art plasma cannons and genetic upgrades pretty much leaving all civilians crippled while anyone working for the government is made into a juggernaut. The crime scene takes huge advantage of this and gangs start forming at epidemic rates , the heavily controlled news stations dub this as the 'gang epidemic' being blamed for all the nation's problems. However something much larger is at work behind the scenes, the gangs form two dividing factions, those that will stop at nothing untill the city is free again (the rebels) and those that are bribed by the new government to do all the dirty work (the pigs), keeping their hands clean and leaving the rebels with all the blame.
When a hacker member of a newly found gang named FREITAG REVOLTE breaks into the president's computer and discovers his vile plans all hell breaks loose and every single gang is sent on a massive manhunt for the members of FREITAG REVOLTE. However the rebel gangs soon form an alliance with the Freitag Revolte seeing as they both have similar intentions, the rebels provide them with assistance whenever they can and propel the members of Freitag Revolte further into BAYONET SQUARE where the president oversees the entire city. But with the entire city on it's knees with the massive growth of corruption,an increasing epidemic of stupidity and violence, and every crooked gang and secret police troop looking to tear them apart limb by limb will definitely make this an explosive revolution that can only end very, very violently.

The comic is heavily stylized with each gang being unique from the rest and each having their own style of causing mayhem. The whole comic is entirely inspired by "The Warriors" and will follow a similar idea but executed somewhat differently.
